In today’s webcomic review on Fables Pro, Ozzy’s Book Club explores a series that wastes absolutely no time throwing readers into a world where delinquents settle their differences through strength, reputation, and outright chaos.

These episodes introduce us to the dangerous world of delinquent schools while laying the groundwork for rivalries, mysteries, and plenty of incoming fights.
MY THOUGHTS
Right from the start, Sukeban and Senpai establishes exactly what kind of story it wants to be.
This is a delinquent tournament.
And not just a small underground event either. This entire school exists for delinquents, fighters, troublemakers, and people society clearly gave up trying to control.
That alone is already a fun premise.
The series opens aboard a bus carrying several students toward this infamous school, and it’s actually a really smart setup. Through casual conversations and even videos watched on a phone, the story naturally explains the rules of this world and the importance of the tournament without feeling forced.
You immediately understand the kind of universe you’re stepping into.
And honestly… it’s chaos.
But entertaining chaos because I was all over it!
One character who immediately stands out is Senpai himself.
Compared to the others, he feels strangely out of place. He doesn’t carry himself like a hardened delinquent, and that contrast immediately creates curiosity around him.
As we learn more about why he was sent there, the story adds another layer to his character. He explains that he became involved after being bullied by a biker gang, and that Sukeban stepped in to protect him. The result? Both of them ended up being sent to this school.
Which honestly tells you a lot about the kind of world this is because I was left thinking there was a lot more to their story than what they shared.
Even the school’s rules are absurd in the most entertaining way possible. Weapons are technically restricted… but only certain ones. Apparently, bringing blades is crossing the line, while showing up with a baseball bat with the intent of bonking someone on the head is perfectly acceptable.
That alone should tell readers exactly what kind of insanity they’re getting into.
Visually, the series looks fantastic.
The black-and-white artwork gives everything a strong sense of personality and attitude. The character designs are expressive and memorable, which is important in a series filled with outspoken personalities constantly trying to establish dominance over one another.
And that’s something the comic does very well.
Plus, there's the obvious...sex appeal of the characters. That was a choice, but it definitely fits the series' vibe.
In this series, conflict happens naturally.
Nobody in this world seems capable of backing down quietly, which means tension is constantly brewing even in ordinary conversations. There’s always the feeling that things could explode into a fight at any second.
And honestly… that’s part of the fun.
But beneath all the loud personalities and incoming fights, there’s also a layer of mystery surrounding Senpai himself. He clearly doesn’t fully belong in this environment, and that contrast makes you want to keep reading to figure out where his story is actually heading.
