Fables is a platform created by creators, for creators. We believe in encouraging creativity and keeping rules simple and clear. Our policies were developed with input from our community to ensure everyone's chance at success. We value open conversation and compromise as we share our visions with the world. To keep things clear, we ask all users to follow these simple rules outlined in our Content Policy.
As outlined in our Terms of Service, creators must own the copyrights to the content they share on Fables. Sharing content without proper permission is not allowed. We encourage you to upload your own work or content you have permission to use. Violating copyright laws can lead to account suspension.
When posting on Fables, please be respectful. We want creators to thrive and share their stories. However, copyright infringement is taken seriously, and we promptly address any violations. We are legally required to respond to copyright infringement notices and will do so promptly.
Please respect others' intellectual property rights, including copyrights, patents, trademarks, and trade secrets. While certain creative works allow for specific rights like remixing or parody, always get written consent if you're unsure. If you have the right license, follow its terms and credit the original creator. Familiarize yourself with fair use guidelines if relying on them for your content.
If you think content on Fables violates your copyright, you can try reaching out to the uploader first to resolve the issue. While we recommend this, it's not mandatory. You can still submit a takedown request without contacting them first. If contacting the uploader doesn't solve the problem, or if you prefer not to contact them, you can send a copyright infringement notice to the Designated Agent listed in our Terms of Service. We'll promptly investigate and disable access to the content if necessary. Make sure your notice includes all the required information outlined in our Terms of Service. Please review the procedure carefully before submitting.
At Fables, we celebrate diverse stories, art styles, and opinions that make our community unique. While we welcome different expressions, it's important to know that some content and comments are not allowed here, regardless of how you joined our community. This Content Policy outlines what is appropriate and what is not, but we may still refuse to host comics and art that don't fit these guidelines.

Share a sample of your work for review, whether it's completed, in progress, or just an idea. We'll provide guidance to help you navigate the process. Fables strives to be inclusive with the type of content that we allow on our platform. We allow extra creative freedom for creators as we allow them to post adult content for as long as they identify the content as mature upon being uploaded to the platform. Therefore, failing to mark adult content appropriately and granting adult content to be shared with minors is strictly prohibited. Mature content must be clearly labeled as it is inappropriate for some viewers.
Respect is everything for Fables. Therefore, hate speech is prohibited, whether from comics or comments. We define hate speech as an attack, discrimination, or bullying of any kind. You may not attack anyone based on race or ethnic origin, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, family status, genetic characteristics, and/or disability. Any violation of our Hate-speech policy may result in account suspension and end of service. If you are a victim of continuous hate speech that cannot be resolved through the creator of the series, or if a creator is violating this policy through their content, we advise you to contact our Creator Liaison Officer to launch a proper investigation. We understand that some stories have some sensitive subject matter, which may borderline fall within hate speech depending on the reader's interpretation. Suppose the sensitive content is relevant to the story from the perspective of a character. In that case, it is allowed for as long as the content is presented artistically for the story's sake. However, suppose this questionable content may be interpreted as a call to action that leads to hate, discrimination of any kind, or may cause harm to anyone. In that case, the content is deemed a violation of our hate-speech policy and is prohibited. If you are unsure of a situation in your content and would like clarification, don't hesitate to contact Jay (at) Fables (dot) pro to open a dialogue. Still, when in doubt, side with caution.
Artistic freedom is allowed and encouraged on Fables. We try to be as lenient as possible so as not to stifle your creativity. However, we ask you to be careful and mindful of your words, art, and commentary so as not to ruin our leniency for everyone else.
Adult content and even nudity are allowed on Fables for as long as it is appropriately marked as mature. With that being said, the depiction of sexual violence is prohibited. Art involving minors may not show nudity or involve them in any sexual acts. The content may also not denigrate living beings or endorse hate speech.

Fables reserves the right to remove comments and posts we deem inappropriate for our site. We reserve the right to suspend a user account and/or ban a user entirely in cases of repeated misconduct. Any violation of our hate speech policy listed above will not be tolerated.
When commenting on someone's comic, try to be kind and constructive. Every Creator puts in many hours for our privilege of reading their work. A good comment or a compliment goes a long way and may even help motivate them to continue their work. It is in your power to put a smile on a creator's face.
It is important to note that Creators are responsible for their comment section and Newsfeed. Therefore, any comments they deem inappropriate, rude, or do not want on their platform are strictly within their right to remove. The Creator may block repeat offenders at their sole discretion. Fables reserves the right to remove or edit comments to ensure compliance with our policies. Trolls who strive only to cause trouble will be banned.
Again, this is a place of passion. We are granting the Creators an opportunity to fulfill their dreams. Be nice, be supportive, and enjoy the content they share! If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all.
