A year ago today, we launched Fables with a simple dream: to build a home where creators could share their stories freely, own their work, share the spotlight, and actually be rewarded for it, regardless of their series' genre or targeted audiences

Some said it was impossible because we were promising too much.
And, well... they were wrong.

Not only did we deliver what we set out to do, we delivered even more, thanks to all of you. Every new feature, every improvement, every creative spark that turned into something bigger came directly from your feedback, your patience, and your passion.


From Humble Beginnings to a Thriving Community

When we first opened our doors on October 14, 2024, Fables was just a tiny sprout of an idea: a place for independent comics to shine without compromise.

Fast forward to today, and Fables has become a living, breathing community filled with hundreds of stories, creators, and readers from all over the world. We’ve seen new friendships form, series rise from concept to cult favorite, and creators who once struggled for visibility now thriving in front of eager fans.

And none of this would have been possible without you.

FABLES FAN CHOICE AWARDS

Fables is barely recognizable from what it used to look like a year ago. We’ve accomplished so much together, but the story is far from over.

Right now, everyone should have received an email inviting them to vote for the Fables Fan Choice Awards! This is your chance to help celebrate the creators who’ve made you laugh, cry, and fall in love with storytelling all over again.

We’ll be awarding three major titles:

Fan Favorite Comic of the Year
Best New Discovery
Most Bingeworthy Comic

We’re also thrilled to announce that we are really just beginning. We have a lot more fun and games to introduce in an effort to improve our community spirit!
