Episode 1-20
These episodes introduce us to a trio that dreams big... even if they have absolutely no idea how to get there.
MY THOUGHTS
At first glance, you can't help but smile.
You're looking at three very cute little idiots who are absolutely convinced they're destined to become legendary dark mages.
And honestly... that's where the magic begins.
Ash, Lyra, and Casper don't just want power.
They want to be feared. Respected. Remembered.
The problem?
They don't really know where to start.
Even better... the obvious paths that most people would take, they immediately dismiss as scams. Which tells you everything you need to know about how this is going to go.
This is not the fantasy adventure you think you're getting.
This is a lovable disaster version of it. It's like watching three completely unprepared underdogs trying to break into something they clearly don't belong in... and yet... you just can't look away.
You cheer for them. You want them to succeed. But deep down... you know it's going to go terribly wrong.
And that's exactly why it works.
Each character brings their own personality into the mix, and the series does a great job staying consistent with who they are. Their decisions, their logic, their "plans"... everything feels true to them, even when it's completely ridiculous.
The humor lands because of that. It's not forced. It's earned through their action and their complete confidence in ideas that are... questionable at best.
What really stood out to me is just how easy it is to keep reading. They are idiots who think they are savants and that just makes me chuckle.
We went through 20 episodes for this review... and I just kept going. Because it's just plain fun.
You get to a point that you just want to see what their next "brilliant" idea is going to be.
And more importantly... how badly it's going to backfire.

Gobbomancers proves that sometimes, the best stories aren't about getting it right... they're about getting it wrong in the most entertaining way possible.
