This actually happened to me as a teenager.
My buddy and I were checking out the house that was being built for my family. The builder had left a small trash fire burning in the not-yet-yard. So I grabbed a bucket that was sitting nearby and tossed the liquid on it to put it out.
Yep: gasoline. Did I mention this builder was an idiot?
No harm done other than two very scared teenagers. And wtf leaves a pail of gasoline sitting around?
