Give me a moment, just checking if this is the first time the story explicitly states these two are a couple. Nope, page 49 (aka ch3 p18) has Sedrick stating it in expiration, good, because I remember commenting on their relationship at some point since the redraw started.
Now the question is whether or not this is a marriage proposal, distraction or a shared-gag? These options are not mutually exclusive. Personally, I think marriage proposal is unlikely, as I suspect they're already considered married. Hnaef is Sedrick's (I presume adopted, though part of that is a vague recollection from either the comments or the character page, so I'm not counting it as a spoiler) kid and so these two likely married to allow for that in the least legally dubious manner.
That said, this is a world where a man can lift the front of a car effortlessly with one hand, commenting that it's easy enough for them to do so for hours. And talking swords. Who knows what wonders science brought forth. Or they could have acted like Sperm Donors with an unrelated Egg Donor who likely also carried the child to birth, who knows. And I just came up with a new head-cannon.
The new head-cannon? Hnaef is Sedrick's biological child, but unrelated to Arthur biologically, being the biological child of whoever the surrogate mother was, who was also the egg donor. If Hnaef has any siblings, THEY are biologically related to Arthur, but unrelated to Sedrick, with them only sharing the surrogate mother/egg donor.
