Hey, long time reader, first time poster. Sort of. Read the original comic for… 8? Years before I lost all my bookmarks in a hard drive failure. Point being, glad to have found this again, and happy to see the remake!
(Also, glad you kept the Geat-Swede joke. I decided to read originally based on that joke in… 2008 I think?)

These Mordred Senses must be why Arthur went to see Mordred while he was on the mountain, as he sensed the meeting between Wiglaf and Mordred. We don't have an in-story reason for the several-day delay between the meeting and Arthur saying hi, though, so for this explanation to hold water we will need to learn about some reason Hnaef didn't just give Mordred's intended location sometime before they got the sword.
That said, it also explains why I presume that Mordred has never had an archenemy before. Anyone who is a serious danger is picked by by either Driver's "Protection" Senses, or Arthur's "Brother" Sense, and was taken out early. This will also be why Mordred has never succeeded in a crime, every attempt that COULD succeed was interrupted by his overbearing bro-con brother's crimes that overshadowed his own crimes to the point where he abandoned the job.
