I find it funny how in some shots Mordred is of similar height to Wiglaf while in others he is clearly the larger of the two, thus I must conclude its either magic at play or Mordred uses whatever piece of scenery is nearby the elevate himself to look Wiglaf in the eyes

Looking back, Mordred tends to be a little taller than Wiglaf. As in, I looked back and saw that on most pages, Mordred's eyes appear to be around the height of Wiglaf's forehead.
It's just this page where it looks like Wiglaf could be taller, and Mordred could easily be slouching while sitting on Wiglaf's arm. He's definitely not completely upright, just from the fact that he's sitting.
As such, if anything, Wiglaf is mysteriously taller simply because he's doing heavy physical exercise.

Mordred is a good 3 or 4 inches taller than Wiglaf. Lol. I struggle to draw it sometimes. Lol.

Given how you're being held this time, Mordred, the answer is definitely "Concerned". You are being held on the far side of the cliff, potentially over the cliff edge, with one arm. While the person holding you looks like he is halfway between hiking & mountain climbing.
In the original, you were at least getting a piggy-back ride! Much more secure, regardless of anything about the person carrying you.
