Mordred lost some pride playing Wiglaf for the fool? Weird, I feel like that's the type of thing Villains typically get to brag about for years to come! Especially since it's not like Mordred had to do all that much to get Wiglaf to act like a fool for an extended period of time.

He did make himself look dumb in front of his brother and Sedrick (and technically Driver for like 5 seconds).

Yeah, but that's his sibling, his sibling's direct subordinate, and his own direct subordinate, so does it really count? If anything, the worst it could have been interpreted as was "Bro, I don't care enough about what you're doing to pay any attention to your failures".
Actually, consider the fact that Mordred knows Driver gives at least Arthur reports on him, and probably Janus too, but only asked that she not tell Arthur (as per page 86). The moment Mordred told Driver, the information was getting back to his family, and he had no intention of trying to hide the fact from Driver. So it's something that, in my mind, only makes retelling the story all that much funnier.
"Oh, the Hero Wiglaf happily pandered to my whims for an entire month. He was happy following along like a pet dog while being called Lackey & Stableboy, barely complaining about even the latter. What makes it all the better is the fact that Arthur & Sedrick showed up in the first couple of days and they both believed I had no idea who Wiglaf was. It was hard to keep from laughing in their face to keep up the act required to trick Wiglaf!"
