My goal with Taishoki City was that *probably* isn't actually in Japan, but I didn't want to explicitly say that it *isn't* Japan either. I decided on Jikyuu having a job and a car before learning that students in Japan aren't really allowed to have either, and considered changing it, but decided to embrace it instead by coming up with an explanation that doesn't really make sense in any culture.
It is said that every 1,000 years, a dark energy emerges and turns certain people into powerful villains. It is up to four girls, with the power of the Niji Chikara, to purge this darkness from them... but this process comes with a cost.
