Mar, a 17 year old girl trapped in a life she did not choose inside a grey and bitter city struggles to find hope for her future until she meets a black blood bird that begins to unveil her true identity. Outside, cruel hybrids burn everything with blue flames, and only a huge amount of gold keeps them from attacking the city... right?... or so she thought.
