Welcome back one and all we do hope you had a wonderful holiday time! I'd like to thank you all for the love you all showed and a warm welcome to the new followers!

Oddly the UK as a whole has a lot of big ghostly black dog tales, some simply haunting crossroads at night, others ill omens of death and disease. But the welsh Gwyllgi is one that's rarely brought up compared to its more pop.

I'm really enjoying this so far. I had a book of Welsh myths that I loved as a kid.

Thank you! I'm glad you are enjoying my recounting of folklore. Welsh folklore is very dear to me due to my Welsh heritage and upbringing.

My favorite was the story of Bloddeuwedd (Sp?), Lleu Llaw Gyffes, and the great wizard Math. More generally, I found the idea of magic through singing just...enchanting. So, I'm so happy to learn more, and directly from a Welshperson no less. I know who Gwydion is, I got so excited when I saw the character's name. Is this THE Gwydion, or named after him? I'm ecstatic either way.
