Food is obviously a necessity but now’s the time where you really have to be picky. Avoid dead fish and any fruit you might find lying around on the ground. It’s likely infected or rotted somehow. Get your fruit from the trees, especially coconuts. You might have to climb a bit but it’s worth it. Not only will you get something edible and fresh, but you also get a better lay of the land around you, and can locate possible water sources!
