No, "gluke" is not a spelling error.

The game they are currently playing, Rebels of the Silver Legion, is based on a series of science fiction adventure novels I'm writing, the first of which will be coming out before Christmas.

The setting for these stories are a shared universe I helped create for Lauren Smith, a romance writer who wanted to dabble crossing romance with space opera. I decided to take that setting and run with it, creating my own Lower Decks to her sexy Star Trek.

So when I decided to bring back Fuzzy Knights, I figured why not have them play in that same universe? But in their world, it's based on the failed writings of the Big Guy (note one of the boxes in the storage room in the prologue), which Mossfoot used as the source material for his own home brew RPG.

Anyway, "gluke" here is short for glucose. Terran "cyborgs" can heal incredibly fast thanks to their nanotech, but that requires a lot of energy. The so-called "glukes" are concentrated glucose shots used when they are wounded in combat.
