Eirgsmoth, whose port once thrived with diverse trade enriching noble houses befell a disaster as her waters receded mysteriously and the earth shook. Now surrounded in a quagmire the township rots from marsh beyond the walls as well as the corruption of a desperate once prosperous people. In despair, the denizens look to deities for solace or relief from noble houses, yet find madness in forgotten gods' cults and strife among the entitled, who have taken to fighting over the scraps of a decaying corpse. The corrupt are rewarded and the vicious make headway. Only the underworld flourishes.

Joel (that's me) of Umbra Ludus (shadow play) focuses on illustrating dark, dramatic, bold, and colourful imagery with a flair for the fantastical. With years of tabletop gaming and delving into Hitchcock, Baum, and Lovecraft at an early age, he led his creative focus towards the dark fantasy, cosmic and American gothic horror genres.
