Midwife, aborted Page 18. Angie and 8244, Tribunal midwives dressed in light blue body suits with bright white battle masks have fought their way to the "Ophan". In an expansive chamber with vaulted ceilings, the midwives are confronted by defenders of the large cylindrical device that dominates the area. 8244 battles an "Ophan Guard" wearing enhanced armor and whose face can be dimly seen behind a protective visor. The guard wields amber energy blades that originate in oversized gauntlets on both hands. In a pivotal moment, 8244 maneuvers themselves into a position grappling with the guard and eventually tearing their arm from the body at the shoulder… the arm falls to the floor, energy blade still pulsing. The guard does not give any indication that they are experiencing any pain, and immediately follows up with a round house punch to 8244's face that shatters the mask. Pieces of the mask and blood explode from 8244's face.
